Energy Department Invests $750M in Hydrogen Industry

52 projects in 24 states receive Bipartisan Infrastructure funding.

The Department of Energy (DOE) invested $750 million into America’s hydrogen energy industry this month, funding 52 projects in 24 states to improve manufacturing and recycling procedures for clean hydrogen systems.

Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said, “The projects announced today—funded by the President’s Investing in America agenda—will supercharge our progress and ensure our leadership in clean hydrogen will be felt across the nation for generations to come.”

The funding announcement was made at the Macomb Community College in Warren, Michigan. U.S. Representative Debbie Dingell of Michigan said, “This investment will create hundreds of good-paying jobs, bring millions of dollars to our local economy, and keep Michigan at the forefront of clean energy innovation and technology.”

As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…

  • For Secretary Granholm to be led by God as she heads the Energy Department.
  • For members of Congress as they advocate for investments in their respective states.
